Sept Tools

Industrial brushless concrete floor grinding

Professional brushless floor grinders for screed preparation, industrial surfacing and polished concrete finishing, without sparking or overheating.

Concrete floor grinding determines the quality of every coating that follows: epoxy, polyurethane, bonded tile or polished concrete. A poor flatness or untreated high spots will compromise adhesion and shorten the life of the finish. Sept Tools offers a range of French brushless floor grinders that combine torque, reliability and operator comfort. Each machine is engineered to deliver a uniform result on large surfaces without harming the operator over the long term.

    Slab diagnosis

Flatness, hardness and existing coating condition assessment.

  2. 2

    Stripping / opening

Tapir with grit 30 or 60 metal pad to open porosity.

  3. 3

    Target CSP profile

Successive passes until the profile required by the future coating.

  4. 4

    Class H extraction

IU33 Longopac (up to 800 m²) or Turbo7 (beyond), source capture.

  5. 5

    Adhesion check

Cohesion measurement and validation for resin or coating installation.

Use cases

For which job sites?

Screed before resin

Le problème

Industrial epoxy resins demand a precise mechanical profile for the bond warranty.

Sept Tools

Tapir plus diamond pad with the right grit to open porosity and ensure adhesion.

Architectural polished concrete

Le problème

Multiple decreasing-grit passes for the mirror flatness expected in premium retail.

Sept Tools

500-4800 rpm variable speed on Petit Potam, diamond plus velcro pads.

Logistics surfacing

Le problème

Slab levelling to meet the flatness tolerances of warehouse specifications.

Sept Tools

Tapir: maximum torque on industrial concrete, single-operator processing.

Coating removal

Le problème

Removal of adhesives, paints, epoxy or rubber before refinishing.

Sept Tools

Manageable Tapir plus aggressive diamond pad for fast uniform stripping.

Silica compliance

Le problème

EU silica limit 0.1 mg/m³ mandatory since 2017, growing labour inspection enforcement.

Sept Tools

Class H IU33 Longopac and Turbo7 connected as standard to every tool.

Industrial duty cycles

Le problème

30 to 50 hours per week of use: consumer-grade equipment cannot keep up.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

Which grinder for decorative polished concrete?

The Petit Potam XM165 is our reference for polished concrete: compact, accurate and ideal for the multiple passes needed to reach mirror finish. Pair it with a Turbo7 vacuum for clean operation.

How do I meet silica exposure thresholds?

All our grinders connect directly to our class H vacuums to capture dust at source. The airflow and HEPA filter combination keeps operator exposure compliant with French OEL regulations.

Can I grind a wet floor?

Yes. The IP65 rating allows wet grinding. We recommend a dedicated wet/dry vacuum and a drying procedure between passes for polished concrete work.

What motor power should I aim for?

For daily professional use, we recommend a useful motor power of at least 1600 W, the standard rating across our brushless floor grinding range.

Are your grinders eligible for long-term rental?

Yes. We offer long-term rental contracts including maintenance for businesses looking to spread the investment. Contact us for a tailored quote.
