The diamond core bit for concrete is the essential tool for on-site coring. It allows perfectly cylindrical holes for cable conduits, piping, networks or technical openings. Sept Tools offers a range of core bits calibrated for reinforced concrete, compatible with its brushless drills Pic Epeiche, Foreuse Périmétrique and Perc Height. From small-diameter coring for heavy fixings to large-diameter for ventilation, these consumables are designed to traverse rebar without breakage.

Specifications and manufacturing

Diamond segments welded on reinforced steel tube. Segment height 10 mm for standards, up to 15 mm for long-life versions. Available diameters: 10 to 200 mm in standard, up to 350 mm on request. 1''1/4 or M16 thread depending on diameter. Wet coring mandatory to evacuate material and cool diamond. Segment geometry calibrated to traverse reinforcement without breakage.

Wet or dry coring?

Wet imperatively for concrete. Water evacuates material and cools diamond, essential to traverse rebar without breakage.

How to traverse a rebar?

With an adapted core bit and an electronically regulated drill, rebar passage is progressive. Reduce pressure on contact to prevent breakage.

Maximum diameter?

Up to 200 mm in standard, but we offer up to 350 mm on order for specialised sites.

How many corings per bit?

Highly variable depending on concrete and depth. On standard reinforced concrete count 30 to 80 corings of 100 to 200 mm depth.
