Diamond core bits

Diamond core bit for dry drilling

Dry coring on lightweight concrete, breeze block and porous materials with central extraction.

Request a quote

Dry coring is used when water is not an option: occupied sensitive sites, work on porous materials that do not tolerate humidity, or quick interventions without water supply. The Sept Tools dry-drilling diamond core bit is designed to evacuate dust by air vacuum, in combination with H-class central extraction. It is particularly suitable for lightweight concrete, breeze block, hollow brick and powdery materials. The clean and compliant solution for dust prevention requirements.

Technical specifications

Specifications and manufacturing

High-density diamond segments with dry evacuation geometry. Vented steel tube to optimise air flow. 1''1/4 or M16 thread depending on diameter. Diameters 20 to 162 mm in standard. Compatible with H-class Sept Tools central extraction (IU33 Longopac, RU80, Turbo7). Designed to limit heat build-up and preserve the diamond.

Use cases

For which job sites?

Occupied site

Coring in indoor housing or tertiary spaces without dust diffusion.

Breeze block and brick

Technical drillings in breeze block, hollow brick or porous soft stone.

Sensitive materials

Coring substrates that cannot tolerate water (cellular concrete, plaster).

Quick intervention

Punctual drillings without the need to install water supply on site.

Why Sept Tools

The choice of a French manufacturer

01

Dust compliant

Designed to work with H-class extraction and ensure a healthy environment.

02

Flexibility

Ideal on occupied sites where water is forbidden or constraining.

03

Material versatility

Suited to soft and porous substrates that do not tolerate wet coring.

04

Extraction range

Compatible with the entire Sept Tools central extraction range.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

Can I dry-core reinforced concrete?

Technically yes but strongly discouraged: heat will quickly degrade the diamond. For reinforced concrete, prefer wet coring.

Which extraction to use?

H-class central extraction (IU33 Longopac, RU80) is mandatory to comply with crystalline silica regulations.

Maximum depth?

Limited by generated heat. Dry, stay below 200 mm or plan cooling pauses.

Available in large diameter?

Up to 162 mm in standard. Beyond, wet coring becomes clearly more performant and is recommended.
