Diamond disc for concrete

Cutting and grooving reinforced concrete with optimal precision and longevity.

Request a quote

The diamond disc for concrete is the essential tool to cut, groove or trench reinforced concrete works. Sept Tools selects discs with laser-welded segments, designed to withstand reinforcement bars and the heat generated by cutting. These consumables are used on our brushless Desman and Taupe wall chasers, as well as on standard thermal and electric cut-off saws. From electric chasing to load-bearing wall cutting, it is the reference consumable for all concrete works.

Technical specifications

Specifications and manufacturing

Laser-welded diamond segments on hardened steel core. Segment height 10 to 15 mm for long life. Common diameters: 230, 300, 350 and 400 mm. Compatible dry or wet cutting depending on application. Peripheral speed optimised for Sept Tools brushless wall chasers. Cutting geometry calibrated to traverse reinforcement bars without breakage. Central extraction recommended for dry cutting.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

Wet or dry cutting?

Both are possible. Dry for indoor sites with central extraction. Wet for deep or continuous cuts that generate a lot of heat.

Does the disc traverse rebar?

Yes, that is its main function. Laser welding and diamond quality allow traversing reinforcement without breakage.

Which cutting depth?

Depending on diameter: a 230 mm cuts about 80 mm deep, a 350 mm about 130 mm. Sept Tools wall chasers can mount two discs to groove in one pass.

How many linear metres?

Highly variable depending on concrete hardness and rebar density. On standard reinforced concrete count 100 to 250 linear metres per disc.
