Request a quote

The diamond disc for porcelain stoneware features a continuous rim (no segments) which delivers a clean cut, free of chipping, on modern technical tiles. Porcelain stoneware is a dense and abrasive material that demands a specific disc: a segmented disc would leave chips on sharp edges, while a continuous rim preserves aesthetics and guarantees a flawless finish. Sept Tools offers discs validated for technical tile installation and the renovation of high-end commercial or residential surfaces.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

Why a continuous rim instead of segments?

On porcelain stoneware, segments generate micro-chips on edges. The continuous rim ensures a smooth cut, essential for decorative tiles.

Wet or dry cutting?

Wet to preserve the disc and obtain the best finish. Dry only for short occasional cuts (less than 30 seconds).

Compatible with angle grinder?

Yes, 115 and 125 mm fit standard angle grinders. Prefer however an electric tile cutter for long straight cuts.

Cutting speed?

Slower than a segmented disc, but it is the price of cutting quality. Expect 30 to 50% more time, but with no chipping.
