Diamond disc for stone

Precise cutting of natural stones from soft limestone to the hardest granite.

Request a quote

Cutting natural stone requires a diamond disc adapted to the material hardness. From soft limestone to hard granite, including marble, every stone has its constraints: abrasiveness, fragility, chip risk. Sept Tools offers diamond discs calibrated for natural stone, with different bonds and geometries depending on the target material. These consumables are used in stonemasonry, heritage restoration and outdoor landscaping. Clean cut, controlled longevity and respect for the original material.

Technical specifications

Specifications and manufacturing

Diamond segments welded onto rigid steel core. Metal bond suited to the target stone hardness (soft for granite, harder for limestone). Segment geometry optimised to limit chipping on fragile stones. Common diameters: 115, 125, 230, 300 and 350 mm. Wet cutting preferred to preserve diamond and material. Compatible with angle grinders and electric stone cutters.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

One disc for all stones?

No, ideally a disc is chosen by hardness: soft bond for granite, harder for limestone and marble. A universal disc is possible but less performant.

Wet or dry cutting?

Wet imperatively for long cuts. Dry only for short cuts on outdoor sites with no water supply.

Compatible angle grinder?

Yes for 115 and 125 mm. Beyond, use a dedicated stone cutter for precision and safety.

Which diameter for a granite worktop?

A 230 mm is generally enough for a full cut. For edges and finishing, drop to 125 mm.
