The diamond SDS Plus drill bit combines the fast mounting of the SDS standard with the drilling quality of diamond. It fits directly on common rotary hammers and produces clean precise holes in concrete and masonry. Sept Tools offers a range of SDS Plus diamond bits from 6 to 25 mm, designed for calibrated drillings on new or renovation sites. An intermediate solution between the classic SDS bit (fast but rough) and the pure diamond bit (precise but slower).

Compatible with my rotary hammer?

Yes if your rotary hammer accepts standard SDS Plus bits, which is the case for almost all market models.

Faster than a pure diamond bit?

Yes, about 30 to 50% faster thanks to the percussion component of the SDS standard, while keeping a much cleaner hole than a classic SDS.

Maximum diameter?

25 mm in SDS Plus. Beyond, switch to SDS Max or to a cylindrical-shank diamond bit.

Does it work dry?

Yes, that is its main use. For prolonged drillings, plan integrated extraction to evacuate dust and preserve diamond.
