Diamond drums

Diamond drum for coating

Open bond and anti-clogging geometry for wall coatings and cement screeds.

Request a quote

Cement wall coatings, bonding layers and finishing screeds are relatively soft yet sticky materials: a standard drum immediately loads. The Sept Tools diamond drum for coating uses an open bond and a dedicated segment geometry to continuously evacuate fines and avoid packing. It allows fast removal of a degraded coating layer or refinishing a substrate for re-application. The reference tool for interior renovation and screed refinishing.

Technical specifications

Specifications and manufacturing

Diamond segments with soft bond, open anti-clogging geometry. Steel drum compatible with Sept Tools brushless planers (Castor, Plafond, Gazellomur Rabot). Dry work mandatory with H-class central extraction. Higher life span than concrete drums on coating thanks to absence of clogging. Ideal for layers up to 30 mm thick in one pass.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

Compatible with lime coating?

Yes, the soft bond also works on lime coatings. Just reduce pressure to preserve heritage substrates.

For asbestos coating?

Only under strict asbestos removal protocol with certified extraction and trained operators. Ask us for advice.

How much thickness in one pass?

Up to 30 mm on soft coating. On hard coating or cement screed, drop to 10 to 15 mm to preserve the tool.

Difference with the concrete drum?

The bond is softer and the geometry more open to avoid clogging. On hard concrete this drum would wear too fast.
