PCD drum for resin and coatings
PCD to shear resins, paints and thick coatings without clogging.
Request a quoteEpoxy and polyurethane resins and thick bonded coverings cannot be attacked by a standard diamond drum: their thermoplastic properties cause immediate clogging. The Sept Tools PCD drum for resin uses polycrystalline diamond teeth that shear the coating instead of abrading it. It is the fastest solution to deeply strip an old resin, remove a paint marking or eliminate a thick bonded covering. Validated for Sept Tools brushless planers in intensive use.
Specifications and manufacturing
PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) teeth mounted on a rotating steel core. Shearing geometry specific to thermoplastic materials. Drum calibrated for Sept Tools brushless planers. Dry work mandatory with central extraction. Higher life span than a standard drum on resins thanks to the shearing principle. Compatible with industrial renovation and thick coating refinishing sites.
