The 165 mm diameter is the historical standard for Sept Tools grinders. It offers the best possible cutting surface without compromising handling, and it is the format for which our brushless grinders were specifically developed. Fouine XB165, Petit Potam, Gazellomur and Tapir fully exploit this diameter to deliver high job site productivity while complying with dust regulations. All bonds and all grits are available in this format, which makes it the default choice for the majority of our customers.

Why 165 mm and not 180 mm?

165 mm offers an excellent balance between productivity and handling. Beyond, weight and bulk reduce grinding precision and tire the operator.

Compatible with other grinder brands?

165 mm is not a universal standard: our plates are designed for Sept Tools grinders. For other brands, ask us for advice.

Are all grits available?

Yes, from 16 (aggressive attack) to 3000 (mirror finish) including all intermediate polishing steps.

Which bond should I default to?

For most sites, the standard concrete bond covers 80% of needs. Beyond, our technical advisors guide you to the suitable formulation.
