Diamond plates

Diamond plate for hard concrete

Soft bond and high diamond concentration to bite into high-resistance concretes.

Request a quote

Industrial concretes, parking slabs and aged structures often exceed 35 MPa or even 45 MPa resistance. On these substrates, a standard plate polishes without cutting. The Sept Tools hard-concrete diamond plate uses a softer metal bond combined with a high diamond concentration: the bond wears just enough to constantly expose new crystals, while the diamond density ensures effective attack on the toughest concretes. It is the reference consumable for demanding industrial grinding sites.

Technical specifications

Specifications and manufacturing

Soft metal bond, above-average diamond concentration. Closed-gullet segments to maximise contact surface with the substrate. High-strength steel body. Grits 16, 30 and 60 available. Extended life on concrete with 35 to 45 MPa resistance. Velcro or quick fastening depending on target machine. Compatible with H-class extraction for compliant dust management.

Use cases

For which job sites?

Industrial slab

Grinding of factory or warehouse slabs subjected to heavy logistics traffic.

Concrete parking

Stripping and preparation of outdoor or underground parking surfaces.

Aged reinforced concrete

Refinishing of older structures hardened by time and carbonation.

High-performance concrete

Work on technical concretes (HPC, UHPFRC) used in infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

From which strength should I use this plate?

Above 35 MPa, this plate becomes clearly more effective than a standard one. Above 40 MPa, it becomes essential.

How can I measure my concrete hardness?

A Schmidt hammer gives a quick estimate. Otherwise, an acid drop test or a steel point probe helps assess.

Can I combine it with a soft concrete plate?

Yes, it is common to keep both references in the site catalogue to adapt to substrate variations without stopping.

Is life span guaranteed?

No manufacturer guarantees absolute life since it depends on pressure and substrate. We share field-observed ranges.
