Diamond plates

Diamond plate for paints

Strip industrial paints, markings and anti-dust coatings in a single pass.

Request a quote

Industrial floor paints, thermoplastic road markings and anti-dust coatings quickly clog classic diamond plates. The Sept Tools diamond plate for paints combines PCD or wide-gullet diamond segments to shear the film and evacuate it without loading the tool. It is the professional solution to prepare a floor before repainting, remove obsolete markings or strip an aged coating on concrete or asphalt slabs. The operation remains compatible with central extraction to comply with dust regulations.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

Does it work on thick epoxy paint?

Yes, PCD is particularly effective on thick films (over 200 microns). For very tough paints, plan a second finer pass.

And on thermoplastic markings?

Thermoplastic road markings (up to 3 mm thick) come off well with this plate, provided you use a powerful machine and central extraction.

Will the plate damage the concrete substrate?

No, the geometry is calibrated to shear the coating without aggressing the concrete. A slight porosity opening is unavoidable however.

How many m² per plate?

Very variable depending on film thickness. On standard paint count 800 to 1500 m² per plate; on thermoplastic, more like 300 to 600 m².
