Request a quote

Grinding interior coatings, plasterboards and plaster finish layers requires a specific consumable. Concrete plates, too dense, immediately load with plaster fines and lose their abrasiveness. The Sept Tools diamond plate for plaster and coating combines a soft bond with very open segment geometry that continuously evacuates fines. It is the solution for interior finishing work, plasterboard joint touch-up or grinding scraped coating layers before painting.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

Which extraction should I use?

H-class extraction is mandatory whenever you generate dust below 100 microns, which is the case with plaster.

Compatible with cement coating?

Yes, provided you stay on thin layers. For thick or aged cement coatings, prefer a soft concrete plate.

Which grit to finish before painting?

Grit 120 to 220 depending on the desired finish quality. For a very smooth result, end with a fine resin pad.

Is it suitable for ceilings?

Yes, this is its preferred ground with the Fouine and Tapir pole sanders, designed for fatigue-free overhead grinding.
