Diamond plate for resins and glues

PCD and dedicated segments to cleanly tear off bonded coatings without clogging.

Stripping epoxy resin, tile adhesive or a glued soft covering is a demanding operation. Standard diamond plates immediately load with sticky material and lose their cutting capability. The Sept Tools resin and glue diamond plate uses PCD (polycrystalline diamond) segments or high-density diamond specifically shaped to shear the coating and evacuate it as chips. This is the fastest solution to prepare a floor before re-laying or renovation.

What is the difference between PCD and standard diamond?

PCD shears the material instead of abrading it. On resins and glues this is far more effective since soft materials would load a classic diamond plate.

Can I use it on a fresh resin floor?

Yes, this plate can also remove drips or defects on recent resin. Reduce pressure to avoid marking the substrate.

Do I need a powerful machine?

PCD requires constant torque. Our medium and high-power brushless grinders are more than enough; their electronic regulation is ideal for this work.

Compatible with central extraction?

Absolutely, and even mandatory to evacuate chips and dust while complying with occupational exposure regulations.
