The Sept Tools throughput shown here is taken directly from our published productivity tables by surface (floor, wall, ceiling): Tapir XTT330 on floors, Petit Potam XM165 set with Mygale gantry on walls, Fouine XB165 on a Gazelle trolley or Eland arm on ceilings. These are figures measured in real jobsite conditions, not rounded marketing numbers.

The manual method comparison only appears where an official figure exists: on ceilings, manual pole work caps at 2 to 3 m²/h before physical saturation within 90 minutes. For floors and walls, lacking a verified manual reference, the calculator would rather show nothing than invent an order of magnitude.

How do you calculate jobsite output for grinding, bush hammering or planing?

The base calculation is simple: total surface in m² divided by the machine throughput in m²/h, adjusted for the number of operators working in parallel. Our calculator applies the official Sept Tools throughput measured in real jobsite conditions (the same figures shown on our floor, wall and ceiling grinding pages), returning a jobsite time in hours then in days based on your effective working hours per day.

What is the m²/h throughput of Sept Tools machines on floors, walls and ceilings?

On floors, the Tapir XTT330 handles 19 to 26 m²/h on concrete and reinforced concrete. On walls, the Petit Potam XM165 set with the Mygale gantry handles 10 to 14 m²/h on concrete (the Gazellomur 3-in-1 combo reaches 60 to 90 m²/h on large runs). On ceilings, the Fouine XB165 on a Gazelle trolley or Eland arm handles 12 to 16 m²/h on concrete. These figures drop naturally on renders, adhesives, bituminous coatings and resins.

Why does throughput vary so much depending on the substrate?

The hardness and abrasiveness of the substrate determine how fast the diamond grit can advance without forcing the tool or overheating it. Concrete and reinforced concrete, being harder, require a slower pass than renders, self-levelling compound and adhesives. Bituminous coatings, resins and old carpet glue, often softer but sticky, also require a reduced pace for a clean result.
