Our story

From idea to complete product range

  1. 1

    R&D origin

The Sept Tools project was born from a simple observation: brushless has transformed automotive and home, but not construction.

  2. 2

    First prototypes

Development in Roanne of the 1600 W brushless motor with constant torque from 500 to 4800 rpm.

  3. 3

    Industrialisation

First grinders and bush hammers delivered to pilot tradespeople in France.

  4. 4

    Full product range

Grinding, planing, grooving, drilling, bush hammering, anti-strain tools and dust extraction.

  5. 5

    Today

A reference manufacturer for demanding construction sectors: nuclear, heritage restoration, decorative concrete.

Our values

What guides our decisions

Genuine Made in France

Designed, assembled and tested in Roanne. No white label, no relabelling.

Brushless innovation

The only French manufacturer pushing professional brushless across every construction trade.

Anti-strain by design

Every machine is engineered to reduce MSDs: vibration, weight and posture all considered.

Industrial durability

Standardised parts, national aftersales, long warranty. Repaired rather than thrown away.

Our factory

Roanne, at the heart of French industry

Our factory in Roanne, in the heart of the Loire region, hosts all of our activities: engineering office, R&D, production, assembly, quality control and logistics. Dedicated production lines, specialised workshops and an industrial machine park operate as an integrated flow to guarantee the quality and durability that define Sept Tools.

This integration changes everything. When a customer reports a difficulty on site, the information travels directly back to our R&D engineers. When a new model is validated, it is tested internally by our own operators before any shipment. This short technical loop is exactly what makes our brushless range reliable and consistent, from first sketch to final dispatch.

THE REAL COST

The hidden cost of traditional equipment

Every week without brushless costs you:

1 MSD sick leave

€4,200 Average full employer cost

Source: French DARES, AT/MP statistics 2024

1 job site day lost to motor failure

€800 to 1,500 in delays (idle workforce + potential contractual penalties)

1 silica compliance failure

up to €3,750 per exposed operator

French Decree 2023-884 on crystalline silica prevention

A complete set pays for itself in 3 to 5 job sites.

The real cost of brushless is the cost of NOT having it.

Straight talk

What we hear on every demo

Three objections show up on every jobsite demo. We address them directly, no detour.

"Too expensive"

What it costs over time, not the day you buy it.

Our brushless motors run fourteen to twenty-five times longer than equivalent brushed solutions. Spare parts in stock at Roanne for ten years. No rebadging, no white label: what you buy, we design and assemble ourselves. Total cost of ownership over six years consistently lands in our favor.

"Too heavy"

Felt weight comes from balance, not the scale.

Our boom-mounted grinders are balanced so the operator carries the minimum. Measured hand-arm vibration is 0.35 m/s2, well below the 2.5 m/s2 threshold set by European Directive 2002/44/EC. Less muscular effort, fewer MSDs, eight-hour shifts instead of one.

"Too bulky"

Compact in transit, stable at work.

Our sets break down quickly to fit in a standard van and reassemble on site in minutes. Stability comes from the boom, not from mass: we favor mechanical balance over adding kilos to pin the machine down.

Reference figures: hand-arm vibration 0.35 m/s2 (regulatory threshold 2.5 m/s2), 60 dB at the operator position, IP65, brushless motor lifespan x14 to x25 vs equivalent brushed solutions. Made in Roanne, long-term service and spare parts.
