Professional concrete wall drilling

Sept Tools brushless drills for service penetrations, heavy anchors and technical fixings in concrete walls and dense masonry.

Concrete wall drilling is a recurring operation on virtually every construction finishing project: electrical and fluid penetrations, ventilation, climate ducts, ironwork fixings or structural anchors. The repetition of these operations makes tool quality and ergonomics decisive for overall project productivity. Sept Tools has developed a range of French brushless drills combining high torque, controlled vibration and native compatibility with our anti-strain solutions, suitable for a handful of penetrations or for hundreds of anchors per day.

Traditional method vs Sept Tools

×

Standard brushed hammer drill

  • Torque collapses in the material
  • Vibration 8 to 12 m/s²: exposure limited to 1h/day
  • Outstretched arm, shoulder pain by end of week
  • Unvacuumed hole, weakened chemical anchor
  • Brushes to replace every 200h

Sept Tools brushless drills

  • Constant brushless torque, throughput preserved
  • 0.35 m/s² measured, full day below threshold
  • Mygale or Gecko: zero felt weight
  • IU33 Longopac coupled: clean hole ready for resin
  • Brushless 4,000 to 6,000 h with no intervention
Why Sept Tools

French brushless engineering

Brushless 1600 W constant torque

Nominal torque preserved on reinforced concrete: no throughput drop in the material.

Base perpendicularity

Pic Epeiche on base: ETA-certified chemical anchors in full safety.

Mygale / Gecko ergonomics

The Mygale gantry and Gecko balancer eliminate the felt weight.

Made in Roanne, 48h service

Designed, assembled and tested in France. Parts in stock, intervention within 48h.

Challenges and solutions

Technical challenges and answers

Hammer drill vibration

Le problème

Conventional hammer drill: 8 to 12 m/s², ELV exceeded in 1 h, chronic shoulder RSI.

Sept Tools

Pic Epeiche brushless 0.35 m/s²: full day without exceeding the legal threshold.

ETA anchor tolerance failure

Le problème

Chemical anchor: +/-1 mm diameter and perpendicularity tolerance, otherwise technical approval voided.

Sept Tools

Pic Epeiche on base: guaranteed geometry, 1600 W constant torque, vacuumed cleaning.

Overhead arm RSI

Le problème

Prolonged wall drilling: 30 % of construction shoulder RSI linked to overhead hammer drill.

Sept Tools

Mygale gantry or Gecko balancer: zero felt weight, vibration 0.35 m/s².

Torque loss in rebar

Le problème

Brushed motor loses torque in rebar: throughput divided by 3, repeated jams.

Sept Tools

Brushless 1600 W constant torque plus anti-jam 100 ms: stable pace in reinforced concrete.

Wet sawing nuisance

Le problème

Wet diamond sawing on occupied site: slurry, noise, heavy logistics, neighbour complaints.

Sept Tools

Perimeter Drill brushless 60 dB(A): clean dry cutting line.

Weakened chemical anchor

Le problème

Uncleaned hole halves anchor resistance: structural failure risk.

Sept Tools

IU33 Longopac class H: blowing and suction combined, hole compliant with EN 1504.

Use cases

For which job sites?

Office renovation HVAC and services

Drilling load-bearing walls for ventilation, air conditioning and electrical in occupied offices. Pic Epeiche up to 152 mm, 30 to 50 penetrations per shift depending on diameter and wall thickness.

New-build ETA certified anchors

Hundreds of certified chemical anchors on residential or industrial sites. Base perpendicularity for technical approval compliance, 80 to 100 anchors per shift.

Industrial halls and logistics

Installation of cable trays, duct supports and handling rails on industrial concrete walls. Sustained pace of 100 anchors per day with Mygale anti-strain setup.

Openings without diamond sawing

Rectangular opening cuts on occupied sites via contiguous drilling. Perimeter Drill eliminates the need for wet diamond sawing, no slurry or noise.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

Which drill for chemical anchors?

The Pic Epeiche on base is the reference for certified chemical anchors. The base guarantees perpendicularity and depth, the two key parameters for technical approval validity.

Do I need a compressor for hole cleaning?

Not always. Our drills connect directly to an IU33 Longopac vacuum that combines blowing and suction for a clean hole ready for resin injection.

What is the maximum drilling depth?

The Sept Tools range handles depths up to 600 mm as standard. Beyond that, bit extensions and multi-pass strategies are offered by our technical team.

How can operator fatigue be limited?

The Mygale gantry or Gecko balancer fully relieves the machine weight. The operator guides without carrying, turning a strenuous task into a precise repeatable motion.

Are your drills usable outdoors?

Yes. The IP65 rating protects against driving rain and dust. For prolonged outdoor work, we recommend an IP44 extension cord and a basic shelter for the control station.
