The Mygale is a wall-mounted gantry that carries a sanding or bush-hammering head across a wall so the operator guides it rather than holding the machine overhead. It is a carrier for wall work, not a ceiling machine and not a sander itself.

The Mygale gantry is built to carry Sept Tools wall machines such as the Petit Potam, transferring the weight of the head to the gantry frame instead of the operator's arms and shoulders during wall sanding or bush hammering.

Holding a sander or bush hammer against a wall for a full shift raises the risk of shoulder and forearm strain. The Mygale gantry carries that weight instead, so the operator guides the head across the wall surface without supporting it, which keeps the pace steady over a longer session.

It carries the machine and its weight instead of the operator (trolley, arm or gantry) to reduce fatigue and musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). It is a passive, non-motorised accessory.

It is designed to hold our grinding, drilling or planing machines depending on the model. The drive stays that of the machine it carries; the accessory adds no motor of its own.

By shifting the weight and effort onto the equipment rather than the operator, it aims to cut MSDs. An independent study (Distrimo, with Bouygues Construction) measured around a 56% drop in forearm vibration on Sept Tools setups.
