A rotary bush hammer reaches CSP 6 at most; beyond that, you have to chip. The chart of the ten ICRI 310.2R-2013 profiles names the machine for each level.
Which chipping hammers fit the Ceiling Chipper?
The set takes one hammer at a time: the PX78 electric chipping hammer or the Scrap'Air pneumatic chipping hammer, clamped in its support. It is mounted on the Eland trolley with a chipping arm; the maximum permissible load of the complete assembly is 135 kg.
How are dust and debris handled at the ceiling?
Ceiling chipping produces dust and debris that fall back onto the operator. The set is completed by a spray kit that dampens the area to be chipped (pneumatic option) and, as an option, an extraction system; the manual recommends the class H IU33 Longopac vacuum. Never stand under the chisel.
