The Petit Potam XM165 is our compact concrete wall grinder for surface preparation, paint removal, raw concrete grinding, plaster, adhesives and resins. Brushless 1600 W constant-torque motor, vibration measured at 0.35 m/s² (14 times below the 5 m/s² ELV threshold), 60 dB on occupied job sites. Compatible with our Mygale gantries, Gecko balancers and Eland trolleys for ergonomic work on large surfaces. IP65 sealing, x14 motor lifespan vs brushed designs. Built and assembled in France.

Which consumables does this grinder use?
It takes the Ø165 diamond cup wheels with a Marguerite 22.2 bore, plus the velcro and ceramic pads in the range. The wheel to choose depends on the material to grind (concrete, render, resin, epoxy) and how aggressive you need it.
How do you maintain a brushless grinder day to day?
The brushless motor has no carbon brushes to replace, so maintenance stays light. Clean the housing and the extraction port after each shift and check the wheel is properly fitted.
Does the grinder capture dust at the source?
Yes, it is built for capture at source and pairs with a class H vacuum for silica or asbestos dust. Source capture keeps the jobsite cleaner and protects the operator.
What warranty and after-sales come with the machine?
The whole range carries a 24-month warranty, parts and labour. After-sales is handled in our Roanne workshop, with spare parts in stock and a reply within 24 business hours, no call centre.
