Free quote, no obligation, reply within one working day. Equipment guaranteed 24 months.

The wall grinder is the tool that decides the quality of the vertical coating, but it is also the one nobody wants to carry at arm's length for eight hours. Raw concrete after formwork stripping (laitance, formwork fins, cold joints), paint to strip, degraded render, glue, resin: the Sept Tools concrete wall grinder handles all these substrates in vertical preparation and surfacing. The Petit Potam weighs 8 kg for touch-up areas and corners, the Gazellomur works through long runs at a sustained pace, and the Mygale strain-reduction gantry takes over the muscular load on prolonged jobsites. A professional brushless wall grinder, designed in Roanne, with national after-sales. Surface preparation, coating removal, finishing: a single tool ecosystem.

Challenges and solutions

Which challenges, and how to solve them?

Vibration and MSDs on a vertical surface

The problem

Carbon-brush angle grinder: high vibration, the 2.5 m/s² action value quickly approached, chronic shoulder and wrist MSDs in prolonged wall grinding.

Sept Tools

Petit Potam wall grinder: 0.35 m/s² declared (manual), plus the Mygale gantry that takes over the muscular load on long runs.

Dense raw concrete

The problem

On dense concrete and reinforced laitance, the operator multiplies passes.

Sept Tools

Brushless motor: uniform attack of the substrate on vertical raw concrete.

Fatigue on long wall runs

The problem

Carrying the wall sander at arm's length over several hundred square metres exhausts the operator and drops the pace at the end of the shift.

Sept Tools

Mygale strain-reduction gantry: the machine is carried by the structure, the operator guides. Gazellomur pace held at 30 to 90 m²/h.

Uncaptured silica dust

The problem

Wall grinding without effective extraction: crystalline silica exposure far above the limit values, health risk and labour inspectorate citation.

Sept Tools

Class H HEPA vacuum connection, capture at the source.

Noise nuisance on an occupied site

The problem

Noisy angle grinder: neighbour complaints, possible working-hour restrictions in occupied tertiary buildings and inhabited housing.

Sept Tools

Brushless wall grinder at 59-60 dB(A): easier coexistence, sound level suited to sensitive sites.

Use cases

For which job sites?

Rework of new concrete after formwork stripping

Property developments, civil engineering structures, concrete walls: removal of formwork fins and correction of steps between pours on vertical surfaces. The Gazellomur works through large walls at 30 to 90 m²/h, the Petit Potam reworks corners and slab edges.

Surface preparation before paint or render

Tertiary renovation, collective housing, care homes (EHPAD), schools: opening the substrate and matting the surface to guarantee the bond of the vertical coating. Output rate depends on the substrate and the diamond plate grit selected.

Mechanical removal of vertical coatings

Rehabilitation and requalification: removal of paints, glues, degraded renders and resins on concrete walls. The Sept Tools brushless render sander handles these substrates in vertical surfacing. The Mygale gantry keeps up the pace on large surfaces without muscular overload, with a single operator guiding.

Exposed concrete finish and interior architecture

Boutiques, halls, lofts, hotels: progressive multi-grit grinding to reveal the aggregates on decorative concrete walls. Premium finishing work with the Petit Potam.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

Which concrete wall grinder to choose for a renovation jobsite?

The Petit Potam (8 kg) for touch-ups, corners and small vertical surfaces. The Gazellomur for long runs in vertical surfacing: 30 to 90 m²/h depending on the substrate. For prolonged jobsites, add the Mygale strain-reduction gantry, which reduces carrying effort. Both grinders share the brushless motor and the same diamond plates.

How much does a professional Sept Tools concrete wall grinder cost?

The price of a Sept Tools wall sander is set by quote, with no public price list, because the configuration depends on the surface, the substrate and the strain-reduction need. Return on investment is measured over the motor service life (13 times longer, 20,000 hours with no carbon brushes), the reduction in MSD absenteeism and the productivity gain. Depending on the configuration, the equipment may be fundable under conditions, subject to prior approval by your insurance fund before purchase. Request a quote within 1 working day.

Does the wall sander hold up on raw concrete and laitance?

Yes. The brushless motor attacks raw concrete, laitance, formwork fins and reinforced concrete. The diamond plate grit is chosen according to the hardness of the substrate. No battery that fades, no carbon brushes to change.

How to grind a concrete wall without ruining the operator's shoulders?

The Petit Potam weighs 8 kg, but over several hundred square metres, even 8 kg at arm's length ends up wearing out the shoulders. The Mygale strain-reduction gantry removes the carrying: the operator guides the wall grinder instead of holding it up. Declared Petit Potam vibration: 0.35 m/s².

Is the wall grinder compatible with a class H vacuum?

Yes. Sept Tools wall grinders connect to class H HEPA vacuums for dust capture at the source. In the vacuum-equipped grinder configuration, source capture makes it possible to work on an occupied site, with a sound level of 59-60 dB(A).
