Diamond plates

Diamond plate for epoxy resin

PCD to shear epoxy resins and self-levelling coatings without clogging the tool.

Request a quote

Epoxy resins, polyurethane and pigmented self-levelling coatings have become the reference floor finishes in food industry, car parks and pharmaceutical sites. Their removal poses a real technical issue: the heat generated by a standard diamond plate melts the resin and immediately clogs the segment. The Sept Tools diamond plate for epoxy uses PCD (polycrystalline diamond) segments that shear the resin instead of abrading it. This allows fast stripping without clogging, with a finish ready for the application of a new coating. It is the professional solution for industrial floor refurbishment on occupied sites.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered

Does it work on pigmented self-levelling epoxy?

Yes, that is even its preferred field. PCD perfectly shears pigmented self-levelling coatings of 1 to 4 mm thickness without clogging.

And on soft polyurethane?

Yes, with moderate pressure. Soft PUs are harder to attack than rigid epoxies, but PCD remains the most effective tool.

How many m² per plate?

On thin epoxy (0.5 to 1 mm), expect 400 to 800 m² per plate. On thick self-levelling (3 to 4 mm), more like 150 to 300 m².

Extraction required?

Class H extraction is mandatory on occupied sites (food, pharmaceutical). Class M is acceptable on new construction or heavy industry.
